On the Arizona Trail!
A few weeks ago Keith (my brother) was in town. We took the chance to carry out one of my Dad final wishes. He wanted his ashes on a specific spot on the Arizona trail. (aztrail.org) He was a trail steward for a segment of the trail near Sunflower Arizona. It is just an hour or so north of the valley heading towards Payson. Denny ans Marie worked this portion of the trial for years with my Dad and when he knew he didn't have long he called Denny with the directions of where to go , Denny knew the stop well. It was about a quarter of a mile in, I think Dad helped mom, it was uphill and with a few rest stops she did awesome! Max also did so much better than I thought! Uncle Keith got him through the thick brush and then he marched on the trail. I am sure Dad was smiling done on him.
Max loves birthday cake! It doesn't have to be for him!
This Sunday was not only super bowl Sunday but Craig's birthday! Max was happy to "help" with the cake! Warning this video is bound to make you giggle!
Max at the dentist!
Max had his very first trip to the dentist! He was AWESOME! I had made the appointment for all 3 kids, thinking it would be easier to take them all at once, then I had a few moments of panic, thinking what the heck have I done! But they all did awesome. The girls in the office looked at Max running around the lobby and though they were in for it! The last little guy in the office a 3 year old took 4 people to hold him done, They were plesantly surprised when his biggest objection was to wearing the "bib" he sat in that big chair the whole time by himself.
